Who we are and how to contact us
Runway Now is a fashion week live schedule, video, widget, and alerts service available at runwaynow.live. For privacy requests, unsubscribe help, deletion requests, or legal identity information about the data controller, contact us at [email protected].
What data we collect
When you sign up for live alerts, we collect your email address, alert preferences, consent text, consent timestamp, privacy policy version, and basic request metadata such as user agent and IP address for security and consent proof. If you separately opt in to optional updates, surveys, recommendations, or product emails, we also store that separate consent and any voluntary profile segment you choose.
When you enable browser push alerts, we store the browser push subscription data needed to deliver notifications. When you request access to the Runway Now widget or contact us through a form, we collect the details you submit, such as name, work email, company, website, site type, use case, and message.
When an alert email or push notification opens the live page, or when someone follows a brand from the live page, we may record a non-personal operational event with the channel, campaign parameters, show name, city, season, and alert action. These events do not include your email address.
When someone plays an embedded YouTube video on Runway Now, we may count one play per player session for the relevant show and record limited player diagnostics, such as the show id, player context, page path, YouTube video id, and YouTube error code when a player error occurs. These records help us estimate Runway Now-driven plays, debug broken embeds, and improve the live player.
Because Runway Now TV stays open for hours without reloading, it also sends non-personal usage events to our analytics provider while analytics tracking is permitted: when a session starts and ends, which video is playing, how long something was watched, and which controls were used (for example volume, subtitles or skipping). If the link you opened carries a school or campaign name, it is attached to these events. They are not used to identify you.
When a site loads our embedded widget, we record the widget key, requesting domain, request timestamp, session event, and technical logs for security, access control, and operational reporting. If analytics consent is granted by the embedding site and passed to the widget, widget interactions may create non-personal analytics events such as source, page, clicks, show opens, player navigation, and player collapses.
For public rankings and audience pages, we process public or platform-provided YouTube data such as video views, likes, comments, peak concurrent viewers, livestream timing, channel title, channel URL, and public channel follower counts when available. These audience metrics describe shows, videos, and public channels; they are not used to identify individual viewers.
How we use your data
We use your email and preferences to send the alerts you requested, including live stream alerts, stream-ready messages, schedule changes, and directly related service updates. Replay availability remains visible in the app and does not trigger email alerts.
If you submit a contact or widget request, we use your details to respond, qualify the request, send follow-up information about the Runway Now widget, and manage the related commercial discussion.
We may send optional Runway Now updates, surveys, recommendations, product information, or commercial emails about Runway Now and related fashion, creative, or textile software services only where we have an appropriate consent or another lawful basis. An alert-only signup is treated as consent for alerts only unless you separately opt in to broader communications.
We also use technical, operational, public audience, and analytics data to operate the service, secure forms and APIs, measure aggregate usage, debug delivery problems, prepare public rankings, and improve the schedule, video, alert, and widget experience.
Legal bases
For live alerts, browser push alerts, newsletters, surveys, recommendations, and optional marketing emails, we rely on your consent where consent is required. You can withdraw consent at any time.
For contact requests, widget inquiries, B2B follow-up about a requested service, security, abuse prevention, essential operations, public audience reporting, and service diagnostics, we rely on our legitimate interest in operating and improving Runway Now and responding to requests.
Email communications
Every marketing or alert email should include a way to unsubscribe, object, or manage preferences. You can also ask us to stop emailing you by contacting [email protected].
We do not sell your email address. We do not share your email address with partners for their own marketing unless you have explicitly agreed to that specific sharing.
Third-party services
Alert contacts and email delivery may be processed through Brevo (formerly Sendinblue). Transactional, admin, contact, and login emails may be sent through Resend. Your email address may be stored or transmitted through these providers only as needed to deliver the relevant communication.
We use Supabase for application data, subscriptions, and operational records. We use SignalsKit for privacy-conscious traffic and conversion analytics. Subscriber emails are not sent to SignalsKit event properties.
We use YouTube embeds and the YouTube Data API to display videos, verify stream availability, refresh public video and channel statistics, and build public audience rankings. YouTube may process data when you load or interact with a YouTube player, according to Google's own policies. By using the features of Runway Now that play or display YouTube content, you also agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
We may also use hosting, DNS, email, and infrastructure providers needed to run runwaynow.live, protect the service, and deliver pages, widgets, APIs, and notifications.
Retention
We keep alert subscription records while your subscription is active and for a reasonable period afterward to prove consent, handle unsubscribes, prevent accidental re-subscription, and comply with legal obligations. Contact and widget inquiry records are kept only as long as needed to handle the request, manage the business relationship, and maintain reasonable business records. Technical logs, widget events, analytics events, and player diagnostics are kept for limited operational, security, debugging, and reporting periods. Public YouTube audience figures may be refreshed or removed according to platform rules and our reporting windows.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of your personal data. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in an email or by contacting us. To exercise your rights or request deletion of your data, contact [email protected].
Cookies
Analytics storage is controlled by the cookie consent widget. If analytics consent is not granted, client-side analytics identifiers are not persisted by Runway Now. Embedded widgets generate minimal server-side session and security logs so widget keys and allowed domains can work, and interaction analytics are sent only when the embedding page passes analytics consent to the widget.
Runway Now TV and the live player may keep a few display preferences in your browser's local storage, such as whether subtitles or sound alerts are on and whether the keyboard shortcuts hint has already been shown. These preferences stay in your browser and are not used to identify you.
